Move On City Girl
You have to move sometime city girl
You can't stay in the country all day long
There's way too much going on
For you to waste you time away
Move on city girl
Take that first step to freedom
Go direct, wait for no cause
Go ahead "ass"sume it all belongs to you
The only "ass" would be you if you didn't
Move on city girl
What are you waiting for?
What are you all waiting for?
If possession is 9/10th of the law
Then it's been yours for a while
What can't you see?
What don't you understand?
What sign are you looking for?
What do you need to happen before the light bulb goes on?
Have you even asked yourself these questions?
You have to move on city girl
You can't stay in the country all day long
You have to move on city girl
There's way too much going on
For you to waste your time away
Move on city girl, move on
The ORACLE Speaks...:Sometimes you can't seem to take that first step towards freedom. Perhaps the comfort of where you are appears to out-weigh the fear of the unknown, where you ought to be. Guess what, the fear that keeps you in 'the country' could very well be that life boat G-d sends to your rescue. Get out of the 'country', get on the boat, and move on to freedom.
Your thoughts.... quick, grab your journal, now write.
