Hollywood Poets Consortium Mission Statement

We are a dedicated group of poets residing in Hollywood, CA. whose focus and goal is to inspire and uplift the human spirit through positive, motivational, and inspirational poetry. We acknowledge the trials of life as a given challenge to overcome and rise above with love, compassion, integrity, and faith.

WHAT WE DO

The Hollywood Poets Consortium provides opportunity for open forum presentation of your work with  thoughtful feedback. No judgement, no put-downs. Who are we to judge the talent G-d gave you?

We can however guide the novice, and exalt the seasoned writer.

Established in 2005 by Denise L. Cook, also known as The ORACLE, the Hollywood Poets Consortium has collaborated this year with Back To One Publications, established in 1976, providing quality publication of your works in calendars, anthologies and self-published books and chapbooks.

Google Publisher Cullen Chambers of Back To One Publications if you're interested in learning how you too can self-publish that novel or book of poetry you've been dreaming of. He walks you through the process to your ultimate goal; self publication.

What poets/writers are saying...

"What can I say? When Denise told me about the site I said, "finally, quality critique by qualified writers, professors of English, and performers of spoken word and poetry. I couldn't wait to join in."
                                                 Janice L. Sykes
Performance Artist

"It felt good to know my work was being viewed by writers just like me. Hollywood Poets Consortium made it easy. Thank you H.P.C. and Denise for all you do."
